The Gladys Langroise Center for Performing and Fine Arts houses the College Of Idaho’s Music, Theatre and Speech Arts, and Visual Arts Departments. The two-story, 54,000 sq. ft. facility includes a 188-seat music recital hall, a music resource/library and computer center, a studio theatre, faculty offices and studios, and student practice rooms.
The building’s exterior is predominantly brick with locally quarried sandstone trim carved to provide historically themed accents. Sited at the west end of the campus, the Langroise Center for the Performing and Fine Arts establishes a powerful terminus and focal point to the main student promenade.
