City of Boise, Idaho Fire Station 15 is a two story, 11,240 gross sq. ft. fire station, located on a 0.90 acre site in the Boise suburb of Harris Ranch. The exterior of the building was designed to meet the Harris Ranch design standards using brick veneer and cultured stone for accents and trim.
Included within the facility is a dayroom, kitchen, fitness center, front office, eight sleep areas, bathroom areas, a study area, and three fire apparatus equipment bays deep enough to be double-loaded. Exterior amenities include xeriscaping and a garden area within an enclosed patio. Located throughout the facility are opportunities for training exercises such as pick-offs, tripod rescue and the Denver Drill.
The facility was designed for and has achieved a USGBC LEED Silver rating.
