Manned by the Lamoille Volunteer Fire Department; Lamoille Volunteer Fire Station is located on a previously undeveloped 4-acre site on the east side of Lamoille along Lamoille Road / Nevada State Highway 227. The structure is a pre-engineered metal building (Type II-B, non-combustible, non-rated construction), is 6,957 SF in total size, consisting of a 4,852 SF 3-bay drive-through apparatus garage and 2,105 SF of administrative, training and support areas.  The Fire Station is surrounded by an all-weather, IFC compliant, access road; with two (2) new on-site fire hydrants that are fed by a 30,000-gallon underground water storage tank. The on-site stored water will be used as an alternative fire water system to protect the building and to fill the fire tender apparatus.
